Decon7 Systems markets a technologically advanced disinfectant formula called D7, a product originally developed by New Mexico-based Sandia Laboratories. Decon7 Systems primarily markets D7 through wholesale companies and strategic partnerships.
An anti-microbial disinfectant with broad-spectrum activity, D7 is a patented product that is registered with the EPA and permitted to be used for a variety of applications including sterilizing, cleaning, and disinfecting. D7 is currently used within the defense, manufacturing, and food safety industries, since it effectively sanitizes at the cellular level.
D7 is comprised of ingredients including hydrogen peroxide, surfactants, inorganic salts, water, and a hydrogen peroxide booster. By cleaving the cell walls of bacteria, viruses, and fungal spores, D7 neutralizes the inner mycotoxins of these pathogens. The surfactants in D7 work to neutralize toxic biological materials by softening their cell walls and helping to dissolve toxic chemicals by assimilating them. D7’s surfactants also initiate the collapse of microorganisms’ cellular membranes by altering the osmotic pressure within the cell, thus making it easier for D7 to neutralize toxins.
